July 27, 2010

El Espectador. Paramilitary and Politics in Colombia. Dangerous Crisis or Opportunity?
December 22, 2006
download The Colombian weekly newspaper El Espectador published an Op-Ed in which I draw comparisons between the Colombian paramilitary and the Sicilian Mafia. Colombia is facing one of its most deep crisis and I suggest that this is not a time for a state of emergency but for civic engagement.
