My life has been a journey of reinvention. Born in Trento, Italy, I began my career at 22 in Palermo, working with the anti-mafia movement and advising the city’s visionary mayor, Leoluca Orlando. That experience became the foundation for a career that has taken me from negotiating peace in conflict zones to coaching some of the world’s most extraordinary leaders.
As the director of the Center for International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University, I facilitated peace negotiations, advised global leaders, and explored the depths of human resilience in the face of adversity. These experiences shaped my understanding of transformation—not just as a possibility but as a necessity for those who aspire to lead lives of significance and impact.
A Journey of Growth
My personal journey has been just as transformative as my professional one. As a teenager, I endured bullying that shattered my self-esteem and left me feeling powerless. For years, I sought approval through people-pleasing, bending to authority in an attempt to avoid further pain.
But that darkness became the catalyst for profound growth. I discovered that within each of us lies a core—a place of integrity and strength that cannot be broken. Tapping into that core has allowed me to transcend limiting beliefs, release guilt and shame, and live a life of abundance and freedom.
Today, I live on my own terms, constantly evolving and aligning my life with my purpose. I’ve built a career that reflects who I am, blending my love for coaching, writing, and teaching to create lasting impact in the lives of individuals, organizations, and communities.
