About Me

I don’t merely give coaching sessions to my clients. I partner with them on their journey to radical transformation. Shoulder to shoulder, I’m with them as they connect with and actualize their deepest dreams and aspirations.

My forte is to help people to connect with their core and express their authentic Self in powerful ways.

I've spent the last 20 years of my life focusing on my own personal development, continually growing and nourishing my mind. I've overcome negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, and disempowering emotions. My values and life goals are clear.

As a result, I’m living life on my own terms.

I’m surrounded by loyal and caring friends. I choose the clients I work with because their challenges excite me, and their life purpose motivates me.

I love to travel, I enjoy healthy gourmet experiences, and spending afternoons at Soho House where you can find me every time I want to read, write, or meet with my friends and clients.

I love to travel, and I travel often, mostly between my homes in Miami Beach and Medellín, Colombia. While I’m passionate about my work, and I love to work hard, I reward myself enjoying time with friends, afternoons at the SPA, visiting my family in Italy, training with horses, or taking walks with Spiegel, my dog.

I genuinely believe that a fulfilling life is one in which you permanently grow. I nourish my spirit and mind through meditation and the reading of great spiritual authors. I regularly participate in seminars and trainings all around the world.

I also believe that a purposeful life is one of contribution for the betterment of humanity. When I was 22, I left the home where I grew up in Trento, Italy, to move to Palermo. There, I joined the anti-mafia social movement and worked as a senior advisor to the Mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, who has become a dear mentor and close friends.

I had the opportunity to work with and advise great leaders of the world, from Romano Prodi to Bill Clinton, from Juanes to Forest Whitaker, from Carlos Slim to Abigail Disney. I’ve been serving on the board of Juanes foundation Mi Sangre and on Abigail Disney’s organization Peace is Loud. I’ve been advising James Rodriguez’s foundation Colombia Somos Todos.

As director of the Center for International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University, I facilitated ceasefire negotiations in Colombia, I advised community leaders from Syria, I monitored UN peacebuilding efforts in the Western Balkans,  I advised national and local leaders on urban violence in several Latin America countries, and on the reintegration of former combatants. These experiences allowed me to explore the dark side as well as the potential and the resilience of human nature.

For the past ten years, I've worked with Family Offices and Fortune 500 companies, partnering with dozens of CEOs and senior executives helping them not only to manage conflict but to discover in it a golden opportunity for personal and organizational growth.

What I enjoy most when working with clients, whether it is individuals or entire executive teams, is to spend time on a farm engaging with horses and experiencing equine learning coaching sessions. In fact, horses are extraordinary teachers that teach us how to communicate more effectively, face our fears and manage our emotions, while also becoming more congruent with our actions.

I’ve been interviewed by a number of media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Bloomberg News, Newsweek International, Univision, and the Associated Press. The NJ Magazine run a story about me and my work in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

I’ve lectured at Ivy-league universities, from Columbia University to Harvard University, from Princeton University to George Washington University. Moreover, New York University, the London School of Economics, and Oxford University also invited me to give lectures. I’ve facilitated my workshops all around the world, from the United States to Japan, from Brasil to Mexico, from Colombia to the Dominican Republic, from Sweden to Kazakhstan.

So far I've written four books. Currently, I'm writing my next book, Intelligent Conflict where I share the method in conflict transformation I've developed over the years.

All this work I do is motivated by my life purpose: to help humanity to journey towards unity.
